It’s astonishing how a wildfire can obliterate an entire town overnight, such as our cherished Lahaina Town on Maui. This historic and globally renowned visitor destination suffered this fate, along with other parts of the island like Upcountry Maui. The local community promptly united to support the affected residents. Donations have since flooded in from around the world to aid those who endured substantial losses.
Lahaina has been Robert’s home since 1977, inspiring much of his artwork spanning 45 years as a Maui resident. His daughters, Margaux and Sienna, grew up in Lahaina, attending Kamehameha III Elementary School on Front Street – tragically consumed by the fire.
In solidarity with those who suffered in the Maui fire, Robert offers his studio print, Good Day Sunshine Edition #2499/2500, to the first buyer contacting the studio. The entire sale amount will be donated to Hawaii Community Foundation’s Maui Strong Fund. Further limited edition prints can be ordered after #2499/2500’s sale, with a portion of proceeds aiding the Maui Strong Fund.
This is for one Robert Lyn Nelson studio inventory print.
