On August 8, 2023, wildfires destroyed Lahaina town on the island of Maui. Residents abandoned their vehicles and fled to the ocean off the shores of Front Street, a prime visitor destination. The fires left the historic town in ashes and brought many struggles for its residents. Learn more here.

Lahaina Hope was created as a commemorative piece, painted soon after the wildfires. This piece depicts the historical Lahaina Banyan tree also known as the heartbeat of Lahaina as we all remember it. We are thrilled that the 150 year old tree survived the fires after being cared for by arborists and landscapers. Limited edition prints are also available.
